Amazon Gaining Grocery Share while Target, Walmart Slip

Amazon showed 18 percent year-over-year growth while sales at Walmart and Target declined compared to a year ago. The e-commerce company’s success has led to a stronger focus on innovation by Target and Walmart, with the former developing a program to charge for produce based on freshness, not weight, and the latter entering the click-and-collect world.
