Campbell Announces New Product Launches Aimed at New American Family

To meet the needs of the "new American family," which is often multicultural, multigenerational and headed by single parents, Campbell Soup Co. plans to introduce Campbell's Go!, a new line of five to six exotic soup varieties, such as Moroccan chicken and coconut curry, sold in pouches, Reuters reported. The company also will introduce "Campbell's Skillet Sauces" for cooking meats, a new line of aseptically packaged soups called "Campbell's Gourmet Bisques," and a broadened range of soups, stews, chilis and chowders under the Slow Kettle brand. Speaking at the Consumer Analysts Group of New York conference, CEO Denise Morrison said Campbell will introduce more than 50 new product in fiscal 2013, the story said.
