Costco stores in Tustin, Calif., and Pacoima, Calif., are testing a new self-serve digital ordering system in the food court.
According to the Press-Telegram, the self-serve kiosk at the Tustin District location was installed two weeks ago, a Costco employee told the newspaper. So far, it’s been a great success and wait times have been cut substantially, the employee said.
Shoppers simply tap icons on a touch screen, click to pay with a credit or debit card, and walk over to the pickup window with a receipt to pick up their food.
