The bridal and special occasion retailer’s newest location is in Naperville, Illinois, with plans to open more stores in Torrance, California, Pembroke Pines, Florida, and more in 2021. The new Naperville store will carry more than 1,000 dresses in sizes 0-30W for all occasions. David’s Bridal has more than 300 store locations in the U.S., U.K. and franchise locations in Mexico.

The wedding industry has boomed in 2021 after weddings were canceled, delayed or rescheduled in 2020. David’s Bridal launched an innovative 24/7 wedding video channel earlier this year, with a YouTube reel that features weddings to offer around-the-clock inspiration. The brand also offers 3D and AR technologies on its website for online dress shopping.

"We are laser-focused on continuing to grow and enhance our customers' entire shopping experience," Bob Walker, David's Bridal's chief field operations and store experience officer, said in a statement. "This includes having a vast and accessible retail footprint for her to browse and find 'the one.' Customers today want to integrate their online and in-store journeys, and our focus has been on putting our customers first and making that transition seamless.”

David’s Bridal is also working to update its stores to cater to the modern customer, from continually assessing its store fleet and omnichannel accessibility to shoring up its real estate strategy with stores in the right locations. The retailer also launched its customer loyalty program, Diamond, which has gained more than 500,000 members in seven months.
