Gopuff, the instant needs delivery company, has launched an accelerator program designed to support underrepresented entrepreneurs.

The program, Put Me On, brings together industry experts to support small businesses and entrepreneurs in a six-month experience. Entrepreneurs in the program will receive tools and resources to help support and grow their businesses.

The program was developed by NBA All-Star Chris Paul, who will serve as program ambassador by giving his time, resources and connections to participants.

“I’ve always had a strong passion for supporting entrepreneurs and bringing healthier foods and products to underserved communities,” Paul said. “Sharing in this mission and collaborating with Gopuff takes this work to the next level. Gopuff’s rapidly growing following and ability to add products to its platform immediately—and deliver to the hands of customers in minutes — is an invaluable resource for brands, and I’m looking forward to unlocking that further for the underrepresented entrepreneurs who need it most through Put Me On.”

Those in the program will have their products featured on Gopuff, access to monthly workshops hosted by industry leaders, networking events, and one-on-one capacity-building sessions with Gopuff’s marketing, merchandising, supply chain and other teams, Progressive Grocer reported.

A cohort of entrepreneurs have already been chosen, but those interested in the next round can apply until Oct. 24.
