“We’ve been part of Georgetown for more than 55 years, and we look forward to serving this community with a larger store that offers a wide assortment of products and services,” said Kenny Scott, Top Store Leader. “With an enhanced in-store experience and commitment to top-quality service and selection, this new store is tailored to serve the needs of this growing community.”
The Wolf Lakes Village H-E-B replaced the 67,000-square-foot store at 1100 South I-35, which opened in 1989. That location is now closed. H-E-B opened its first Georgetown store at 600 W. University in 1966. The 21,000-square-foot store remained in operation until 1989. H-E-B currently operates two stores in Georgetown.
Currently, H-E-B operates more than 420 stores throughout Texas and Mexico. As one of the nation's largest independently owned food retailers, H-E-B achieved $38.9 billion in annual sales last year, up from $34 billion in 2021, according to Progressive Grocer’s 2023 list of the top food and consumables retailers in North America.
