Instacart is building a $40M customer experience center
Instacart plans to spend $40 million ramping up the battle for grocery delivery that pits it against every retailer in America.
The company plans to build a Customer Experience Center in Atlanta over the next two years, according to a statement issued by Gov. Nathan Deal.
Work at the center will be aimed at improving Instacart’s business, a spokeswoman said. Among the jobs Instacart will add are data analysts and process improvement specialists, along with various management positions.
Instacart has introduced same-day delivery in more than 240 markets across North America since its launch in 2012. In August, Instacart launched its extended service area around Atlanta to add 495,000 households, while saying it would add more than 100 new shoppers.
