Misfits Market Launches Loyalty Program

Online grocery platform Misfits Market, which delivers organic produce for up to 40% off grocery store prices, has introduced its first loyalty program, Misfits Perks.
Misfits Perks enables shoppers to earn points for every purchase, plus additional points for certain actions such as downloading the Misfits Market mobile app. Loyalty members can redeem points for special rewards, including discounts on grocery orders, or choose from two levels of gift offerings, according to a June 15 company blog post.
New and existing Misfits Market customers are automatically enrolled in Misfits Perks for free.
How to Earn Points
Customers enrolled in Misfits Market’s weekly subscription grocery plan earn 2 points for every $1 spent on grocery purchases. Shoppers who prefer to order their produce a la carte earn 1 point for every $1 spent on grocery purchases. There’s no limit to the number of points customers can earn.

How to Redeem Points for Perks
After logging in to their Misfits Market account, customers will see which perks they’re eligible for on an upcoming order based on their points balance. Users choose their preferred perk and select “Redeem,” and then the reward is applied on their next order. In addition to discounts on an order, Perks range from a “Mini Gift” (i.e., an everyday item like a snack or produce product), a “Mega Gift” (i.e., a premium item), or multiple gifts at once, based on their balance.
For Mini or Mega Gift options, shoppers can select from a special section of Misfits Market when building a future order. Depending on points earned, this section will showcase qualifying items, similar to Albertsons Companies' loyalty program. Perks available may change depending on the company’s seasonal assortment.
In addition, points can be redeemed at the same as other discounts from promo codes and referrals.
