Nectar Bath Treats Goes International with UAE Stores

- Las Vegas-based beauty brand Nectar Bath Treats is expanding globally.
- It opened two stores in the United Arab Emirates, and it has plans to open stores in other cities like London.
- In-store shoppers can create their own custom fragrances and customize the scent of products like shampoo and conditioner.
Nectar Bath Treats is continuing its brick-and-mortar expansion and in December opened new stores in the United Arab Emirates.
According to a Dec. 8 release, the bath and body products retailer this year opened two stores in the UAE, one in Dubai at Dubai City Walk and another in Abu Dhabi at the Abu Dhabi Mall. In addition to the new UAE locations, the retailer has opened several other stores in the past year, including a store in Poland and several new U.S. locations including in Minnesota, Florida and Hawaii.
Nectar Bath Treats is based in Nevada and makes its skin care products in Las Vegas. The company was founded in 2015 and uses “simple, plant-based ingredients'' that it says are safe for use even for consumers with sensitive skin. The direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand sells products directly through its e-commerce website and at its retail stores. Nectar Bath Treats now operates more than a dozen stores, including six in Las Vegas in hotels and casinos like The Venetian and Ceasar’s Palace.
“Both Vegas and Dubai are family-friendly tourist destinations,” said Tom Taicher, the CEO and founder of Nectar Bath Treats, in the release. “Nectar Bath Treats is the perfect fit for families and travelers looking for a one-of-a-kind experience."
In addition to the new stores in the UAE, the retailer also is launchinga global brick-and-mortar expansion with plans for stores in London, New York and Tokyo, according to the release. At its physical stores, customers can create personalized perfumes at its demo sink and customizable fragrance bar. Shoppers can also create their own rollerball or oil and can customize the scent of the retailer’s personal care products, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion, the retailer said.
