Nielsen Names Innovation Award Winners

The 18 winning products include Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups from Nestlé, Cheez-It Grooves crackers from Kellogg, Chobani Flip yogurt and Skinny Pop Popcorn from Amplify Snack Brands. The contest was for products that rolled out in 2014, and criteria include reaching at least $50 million in first-year sales and maintaining at least 90 percent of those sales in the second year. Nielsen considered almost 3,500 products for the awards.
