The expansion comes as the home goods retail sector has taken off since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Parachute is kicking off its debut in the space with a collection of bed frames available on the company’s website and Parachute stores, with more furniture to come in 2022.
The company currently has 12 retail storefronts in the U.S. and Canada. Parachute, which is known for its comfortable bedding, has expanded into six additional categories in the last three years, including furniture. This strategy has enabled the company to expand its offerings into every area of the home.
“Our vision is to help people create comfortable spaces for themselves and their families by offering high-quality, comfort-inspired products for every room in the home—and by continually listening to our customers to identify new areas of growth,” Ariel Kaye, founder and CEO of Parachute, said in a statement.
The bed frames are made in the U.S. and are available in three upholstered styles. The designs were created in-house, with inspiration from the southern California landscape. The bed frame collection will range in price from $1,800 to $3,050.
