Retail Leader Parent Seeks Help for Category Management Study
The Category Management Association (CMA), in collaboration with the Center for Sales Leadership, is researching collaboration practices in category management, with the goal of developing a detailed, empirically validated collaboration model to help improve category management partnerships. The model will allow category management professionals to identify the drivers of—and obstacles to—category management collaboration, and guide efforts toward creating and sustaining the most effective and profitable category management partnerships. The survey is open to people in all sides of category management, including retailers, manufacturers/suppliers, wholesalers/distributors and third-party category management participants (e.g., consultants, data suppliers, etc.). If you are involved in any aspect of category management at your company, we invite you to join this study. It will only require approximately 10 minutes, and will provide you and other category management practitioners with invaluable and actionable information. A report of the research findings will be presented at the Spring 2016 Sales Leadership Conference at DePaul University and made available on the CMA website. Results also will be featured in Stagnito Business Information + Edgell Communications brands, including Retail Leader, Progressive Grocer, Convenience Store News and Store Brands.
