Pricing and promotion activity can be greatly improved by leveraging artificial intelliengence, oftentimes with the easiest gains coming from the elimination of unproductive promotions.

Of all the ways in which retail is being transformed, at or near the top of the list is the discipline of pricing. Pricing decisions and the now countless variables that go into making and optimizing them impact shopper perceptions and retail profitability in profound ways. The topic was explored recently during a Retail Leader hosted webinar with well known industry analyst Brian Kilcourse from Retail Systems Research and retail technology veteran Rod Martinez with leading solutions provider Revionics.
