RSi names new technology, marketing execs

A leading provider of technology solutions for CPG manufacturers and retailers has made some changes to its C-suite.

RSi has named Amit Jain as Chief Technology Officer and Patrick U. Di Chiro as Chief Marketing Officer. Jain reports to RSi Chief Executive Officer Bert Clement, and Di Chiro reports to Kirk W. Wheeler, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for RSi. 

Jain joined RSi in April 2017 as Executive Vice President of Engineering. In his newly expanded CTO role, Jain is responsible for leading RSi’s global data management and digital transformation technologies that help CPG manufacturers and retailers to manage, monitor and monetize their most valuable retail data. His technology brief includes all global engineering activities around product design, technology development and quality assurance. In addition, Jain is spearheading RSi’s growing use of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.

With more than 17 years of technology leadership experience, Jain has a strong track record of building highly scalable analytics platforms, enterprise software and distributed computing architectures. Prior to joining RSi, Jain was Vice President of Engineering with GT Nexus, an Infor Company. He earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, from IBS; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Mathematics and Statistics, from St John’s College.

As CMO, Di Chiro leads RSi’s global marketing strategies and programs designed to generate demand and leads, build the RSi brand, and strengthen the company’s products and go-to-market activities. With 30+ years in marketing and communications, Di Chiro has worked the past two decades in Silicon Valley, launching and helping to drive revenue growth for some of the world’s best known technology companies and brands, including Marketo, E*TRADE, AT&T Mobility, Engagio and Google/Wildfire. 

Earlier in his career, Di Chiro founded Thunder Factory, a leading digital marketing and branding firm. He also served as a global partner at Ketchum Worldwide, and VP of Worldwide Marketing for Visa International. A native of Napoli, Italy, Di Chiro earned a BS in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
