Second Health/Wellness VP Leaves Walmart

HSN, the multichannel retailer formerly known as Home Shopping Network, hired Carmen Bauza as executive VP and chief merchandising officer. Bauza spent the past ten years as a senior leader at Walmart, most recently serving as the senior vice president for the consumables, health and wellness merchandising division. Her previous positions at Walmart included vice president and divisional merchandise manager for beauty and personal care, and director on the board of Walmart de México.

Bauza follows Michelle Gloeckler, who spent seven years at Walmart, ending there as EVP for consumables, health and wellness. Gloeckler left Walmart in August to become executive vice president, chief merchandising officer and president of Academy International Limited, the global sourcing entity of sports retailer Academy Sports + Outdoors.
