Sun Basket makes healthy eating easier
One of the country's most popular meal kit providers is ramping up its meal personalization efforts to include more dietary choices.
Sun Basket is adding three new meal plans: Vegan, Pescatarian, and Mediterranean. In addition, the company has expanded the total number of weekly recipes to 18. With the option to order two, three, or four recipes per week, choose premium proteins on select meals, double up on recipes for entertaining or leftovers, and select from eight custom meal plans, customers now have unrivaled healthy personal choices on Sun Basket.
"Our new Vegan, Pescatarian, and Mediterranean menus are a direct result of our customers' strongly expressed interest," said Adam Zbar, CEO and Co-Founder of Sun Basket. "Our Executive Chef, R&D chefs, and in-house dietitians carefully craft these recipes using fresh organic produce, responsibly sourced meats and seafood, and sustainable ingredients from the best providers. We are committed to bringing consumers the variety and convenience they want and need to cook and eat healthy, no matter what their dietary needs are."
Each of the three new meal plans offers nutritionally balanced meals and globally inspired flavors, made with organic produce and sustainable ingredients, and delivered in low-impact packaging.
Founded in San Francisco in 2014, Sun Basket aims to offer an innovative healthy cooking service, with the best pre-measured, organic and sustainable ingredients and easy-to-cook, delicious recipes weekly to consumers' doors.
