Survey: Hispanics Spend More on Groceries
Acosta Sales & Marketing, in conjunction with Univision, released results of the poll showing that Hispanic shoppers spend an average of $361 monthly on groceries, compared with an overall average of $331. Almost three-fourths of Hispanic shoppers say they enjoy shopping for groceries, compared with only 16 percent of the general population. In addition, Hispanics are less likely to shop alone, which tends to increase their overall spending.
