Target to Fire First In Black Friday Salvo

To win market share, Target said it will open at midnight on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, or Nov. 25 this year. That is four hours earlier earlier than last year, according to a Citi Investment Research & Analysis report, allowing the retailer to fire “the first shot in the battle for Black Friday shoppers.”
