TJX, Big Lots vet joins Dollar Tree board

The former CFO of TJX Companies has joined Dollar Tree as a member of the board. 

Dollar Tree announced that Jeffrey Naylor has been appointed as a new independent director to the company's board.

Naylor, 59, is an accomplished executive leader with significant experience in the retail and consumer products industries.

Jeff's extensive experience in executive leadership roles with successful growth retailers will be a welcomed addition to our board."

Prior to his retirement in 2014, Naylor served as a senior executive with The TJX Companies, Inc. He joined the organization in 2004 as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and later took on additional responsibilities for Information Technology, Legal, Strategic Planning and Business Development as its Chief Administrative Officer.

Prior to joining TJX, Naylor served as Chief Financial Officer of Big Lots, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Dade Behring, Inc. 

Naylor currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the following publicly-traded companies: Wayfair Inc., Synchrony Financial, and Emerald Expositions.
