Toys"R"Us Canada, a subsidiary of Putman Investments, expanded across Canada with 10 store openings, including two stand alone Babies"R"Us locations. The expansion totals more than 300,000 square feet of retail space and brings the toy retailer to 105 locations across Canada along with e-commerce sites: Toysrus.ca and Babiesrus.ca.

Consumers also are able to find Toys"R"Us Canada shop-in-shops in all new Rooms + Spaces stores, which opened earlier this summer across Canada.

"I believe the Canadian consumer is looking to get out and shop in-store again,” said Doug Putman, of Putman Investments, in a press release. “I see such a strong opportunity to invest in Canadian retail. Our recent lease acquisitions allows us to re-enter markets we were previously in, reach markets where we don't have a presence or where we see potential to meet a greater demand."

Although a majority of the locations are new, Toys"R"Us is returning to communities such as Kamloops, British Columbia. The new Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us stores are located in:
