Kate Upton adds sizzle to meal kit space
Plant-based meal kit company Urban Remedy is launching a new exclusive meal plan through a new partnership with supermodel and actress Kate Upton.
Operating 16 retail locations and more than 40 Whole Foods kiosks across northern and southern California, Urban Remedy offers convenience by shipping to consumers nationally from their headquarters in Point Richmond, Calif., located in the San Francisco Bay area.
This partnership closely follows Urban Remedy’s recent re-launching of their previously popular Metta-Morphosis Program, which was designed to completely transform the lifestyle of consumers -- including, mind, body, and spirit, according to their website.
Popular for their advancement in the plant-based community, by offering the infusion of healing properties into ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and cold pressed juices that are certified organic and non-GMO. Founder Neka Pasquale states that she uses ancient remedies of Chinese medicine into modern foods to naturally lower inflammation and sustain the body.
“My goal has always been to educate others on the importance of eating ultra-fresh, healing food and through this collaboration, it's exciting to know that we'll further our reach,” said Neka Pasquale, “This partnership has been very organic with Kate starting out a big fan and customer of Urban Remedy. Kate is the epitome of health and balance while maintaining a busy lifestyle and makes for the perfect role model for what our meal plan and her fitness routines aim to achieve.”
Upton, a loyal customer of the brand for three years, approached Urban Remedy to create the Kate Upton Meal Plan in conjunction with her new wellness program, Strong4Me Fitness. This is a 12-week fitness program that now, through Urban Remedy, will offer a meal-delivery component. This meal plan includes a diverse menu of what is said to be some of Upton’s favorite items, such as: Mint Cacao Chip Smoothie, Vegan Caesar Salad, and Veggie Burgers.
“I’ve been using Urban Remedy for years, so this partnership was a no-brainer to me,” said Kate Upton, Founder of Strong4Me Fitness. “My approach to food and exercise is that it should be easily incorporated into a busy lifestyle, and not intimidating or overwhelming. Urban Remedy’s better-for-you offerings are an easy way to eat healthy food that tastes great, and my workout program is just as easy to work into a daily routine for lasting changes.”
Uptons Strong4Me Fitness program is now the sister program to the Urban Remedy Meta-Morphosis Program.
