Land Drones to Deliver in D.C.
The nation’s capital has become the first city to allow unattended robot vehicles to roll over its sidewalks. Recode.com reports that Starship, a company based in Estonia and created by two co-founders of Skype, will begin delivering from grocery stores and restaurants this fall. Starship’s owners have been soliciting other cities to allow robot vehicle deliveries, but none have responded positively to date.
