Walmart e-commerce exec Iannone is eBay’s new CEO
Walmart e-commerce COO Jamie Iannone has rejoined eBay to serve as CEO and a member of the board effective April 27.
Iannone previously worked at eBay in various leadership roles from 2001 to 2009 before joining Walmart’s Sam’s Club division. Iannone served as CEO of SamsClub.com before being named COO of Walmart E-commerce. Iannone joined Sam’s Club from Barnes & Noble.

I believe the company has tremendous opportunities to capitalize on this foundation, innovate for the future and grow its ecosystem. I will focus on continuing to evolve the company's strategy while delivering on eBay's commitment to maximize long-term shareholder value."

The top job at eBay was previously held on an interim basis for the past six months by Scott Schenkel.
